[ the signs of muramasa's wilting patience have changed, coming to eorzea. before it had been about catching the shift in his posture, the sharp edge on the way he stares at people dragging him against his will into foolishness, making it seem like his flaring temper was a sudden surprise when the inevitable happened.
now, the tail is a dead giveaway.
muramasa simply hadn't had the wherewithal to refuse the offered "gift" when it was handed to him still disoriented from the teleportation spell (you meet the strangest people in the plaza...) and now its shaking in a rather suspicious way in his hands. ]
[ Finding themselves in Eorzea and changed to suit its lands, their new bodies have required a fair amount of adjusting. Or at least for Yuta it has been more of a struggle. Especially when it seems rabbit people like him don't really live around these parts and it's hard to find answers regarding his physiology and his supposed kind. But for all the strange hardships that come with their different bodies, there are changes he can appreciate, too. Like his heightened senses and suitability for cold climates. Muramasa's feline traits can be quite endearing as well and they make him much easier to read.
Yuta has already learned through experience, gained from spending so much time in Muramasa's company, how to gauge his moods accurately from little tells that are easily overlooked by people who do not know Muramasa well and aren't nearly as invested in paying as close attention as Yuta does. Now he only needs to look at Muramasa's tail to know how he's feeling at any given time. It simplifies things quite a bit. (But also causes more trouble when it makes him easier for others to read, too, and Yuta has to work harder to cover and make up for any obvious growing annoyance.)
The slight delay in teleporting after Muramasa means he arrives too late to intervene an ambush interaction, only catching the tail-end of it as Muramasa is left holding a suspiciously shaking box in the wake of it. Yuta eyes it with wary curiosity as he draws close to Muramasa's side, nose giving a little twitch as though any scent might divine an answer to the question he asks aloud. ]
