( It is without fanfare that the curses start popping up. At least a couple of times a week from here on out Geto's creatures will come with Tupperware and refuse to leave until their burden is lifted. Often the meals inside will be fairly simple, but hearty. Anyone from his world ( with the exception of Fushiguro Toji 🖕🏻) and, surprisingly, Raidou and Shoto will receive them. The very first time there's a note, it simply says 'give the boxes back the next time' with a terribly squiggly drawing of rainbow dragon scowling in warning. Any others it is just the food.
Also he won't talk about it. Don't acknowledge it. Sincerity makes him itchy. )
[ Geto does not know it, but the deliveries start at a time when Yuta might need it most when lovesick depression has led to difficulties eating and him subsisting on mostly just protein bars for quite a while. In the interest of not wanting to waste Geto's efforts or the food itself, he eats whatever gets send his way despite his lack of appetite anyway. The boxes are always duly returned, carefully cleaned. It's after things start getting better for Yuta that he begins occasionally sending something back in the boxes. Whenever time, energy, and availability of the necessary ingredients (or acceptable substitutions for them) allows it, Geto will find the African dishes that Miguel taught Yuta within.
It's his way of expressing his gratitude and to offer what little tether he can back to Geto's family. Thanks, dad. ]
